Paul Chan: Hong Kong Will Introduce Virtual Asset Service Provider Licensing System in June

Under the principle of "same activity, same risk, same regulation," Hong Kong will introduce a virtual asset service provider licensing system in June this year.
3月17日TuoniaoX.com消息，香港特区政府财政司司长陈茂波在2WEB3 FEST Hong Kong 2023活动上发表视像致辞时表示，过去几年，虚拟资产业在香港正起步稳妥发展。在“相同活动、相同风险、相同监管”的原则下，香港将在今年六月引入虚拟资产服务提供者发牌制度。“我们相信，透过订立合适的监管发牌制度，排除业内的害群之马，有利提升行业的整体形象，促进虚拟资产业健康、有序和负责任的发展。”陈茂波表示。（界面新闻）
