Charlie Munger calls for US ban on cryptocurrency

In an opinion article in The Wall Street Journal, Munger attributed the rise of cryptocurrency to regulatory gaps, as crypto assets are neither currency, commodities, nor securities. Munger stated that this is a gambling contract where the house has an advantage close to 100%. Munger has previously expressed his wish that cryptocurrency had "never been invented."
